German character and virtual musician Gummibär has released fourteen studio albums, one soundtrack album, eight extended plays (EPs), and 50 singles. The character was created by animator Peter Dodd in 2006. In July 2006, Gummibär released its debut album, Itt Van a Gumimaci. The second Gummibär album, Funny Music, was released in France in June 2007, on the Gummybear International label. The third album, I Am Your Gummy Bear, was released in November 2007 in the United States, and led to Gummibär's increased popularity and icon status.
