This Ain't That, That Ain't This.

"If I Ain't Got You" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys for her second studio album The Diary of Alicia Keys (2003). It was written and produced by Keys. Lyrically a torch song, the song dismisses materialism as inferior to love. The lyricism was influenced by the death of singer Aaliyah, as Keys acknowledged the ephemerality of life. Musically, the track is a piano-driven soul and R&B ballad drawing on jazz stylings.
