The Predator is the third studio album by American rapper Ice Cube, released on November 17, 1992, through Priority Records. The album was released within months of the 1992 Los Angeles riots; many songs comment on racial tensions in the United States. The album was produced by DJ Pooh, Sir Jinx, Torcha Chamba, and DJ Muggs. The title is in part a reference to the movie Predator 2, and the album includes samples from the film. The Predator was supported by three singles: "It Was a Good Day", "Check Yo Self" and "Wicked".
