Canción Animal (pronounced [kanˈsjon aniˈmal]; transl. Animal Song) is the fifth studio album by the Argentine rock band Soda Stereo. Released on 7 August 1990, the album features a rock sound, a change from the band's previous new wave and funk albums. To create Canción Animal, the band drew inspiration primarily from the sound of Argentine rock bands from the 1970s that they had listened to during their adolescence, such as Pescado Rabioso, Vox Dei, and Color Humano.
