Gloria Trevi is a Mexican singer and songwriter who started her musical career as a member of the girl band Boquitas Pintadas in 1985. She then released her first solo album ...Qué Hago Aquí? in 1989, followed by four more studio albums, a compilation and a remix album which were all released throughout the 90s. She was arrested in 2000 accused of sexual abuse and corruption of minors, and spent over four years in prison waiting for a trial, until a judge found her not guilty of the charges and freed her in 2004.
